Warmth in a relationship is developed when two people have a connection. Here by connection I don’t only mean attraction between the two of you, it also means sharing common values as well interests so that you two remain bonded forever. There are time when couples share a spark, get along really well and hence decide to get married. Even if you are steady in a relationship and you think that something is going amiss, here are things you need to take care of!
The most important thing that is going amiss even when everything else seems alright between the two of you is your friendship. Yes, despite the love and care shared by the two of you, it is equally important to see whether both of you are good friends to each other or not. Now, if this makes you ambiguous, then you are grossly wrong because unlike the hearsays, you two can be the best of friends even as couples. If you intend to have a long lasting bond, it is a must for you to be the best of friends.
Rumor has it that couples can never be friends because they can no longer listen to each other’s worries with the heart as friends do. However having a strong longing and passion for one another also helps but it can’t fuel the relationship enough to keep it going. I am saying this because there’ll be times when you as a couple may not be living in your most passionate times. There is nothing wrong in it and is a natural part of a relationship but it should not lead to crevices between the two of you.
Limiting yourself to knowing each other only in certain aspects can actually bring in void that may compel you to think otherwise. Here is when being friends with each other helps. If you know each other in every way, the incidence of you feeling lonely and detached from each other will immensely reduce and even if communication for the time being, becomes a barrier, you’ll know the reason of him reacting in that way.
This will develop an unspoken understanding between the two of you and your bond will never leave its warmth even if your romance takes a back seat for some time.
