All successful relationships come to the final destination of marriage. In the court of marriage all is fair if both the individuals love each other. But like we see in movies, the major problem comes when parents and family don’t agree to your marriage and love. Convincing your parents to accept your love is a major challenge especially if you belong to a conservative family. Generally such families prefer their children to get married to someone of their cast and community. If you belong to an educated family, there might not be a problem if you both have good careers, unless the other family members start putting their points to your parents in order to manipulate their decision and make it negative. So, as per the situations that arise, it is very important for you to act accordingly in the right way. If you think what you are doing is right, then you got to be very sure that the way you do it is also right.
Eloping away with your partner inspired from romantic movies is a very disastrous idea to opt for. Nothing can be more beautiful than marrying the person you love with the consent of your parents and relatives. After all it’s them who brought you up to make you worthy of loving and being loved by another person. If the religion is same, then convincing might not take much efforts like inter-religion but nothing will happen without any efforts either. Here you communication and understanding with your parents will play a major role. The main thing is that first you have to communicate with your parents and make them realize how much you love your partner and that you won’t be happy if you are married off to some one else. The point of arrange marriage doesn’t come when you love someone. Somewhere in your heart, you will always remember your love and you’ll pine for your lover if you both don’t get married. Another fact is that when children are not happy, parents cannot be happy either. Talk patiently about your problem. First talk individually to them first over a meal or outing and then involve other people for further support. If you bring someone else to talk for you, things might not work out.
Another thing to be taken care of is the timing. If you belong to a career minded family, then its better you leak the news when you both are settled with decent salaries. Like it is said, if your love is true, then god will help you to get it and grow old with it. So, believe in your partner and believe in god to make things work.
