If you truly intend to experience a relationship that is pure, resilient against suffering and long lasting then the only way to do it by empowering it. Where the contribution of both is what strengthens a bond, even if one of the other tries to take some initiative, changes can be brought in to a great extent. I am addressing the women here because they are by nature, more sensitive and contain greater capacity to endure, learn and grow strong.
So empowering yourself starts with empowering your own self. You have to develop in you the power and a constant choice to be appropriate with it. It starts with always telling the truth in the first place. Whenever anything goes wrong in a relationship, do not elude from saying the truth. Even if it may cause a little discomfort to your partner, never destroy the facts thinking that it’ll hurt your partner. Truth has a strange nature of revealing itself so it is best to do it yourself in the first place.
The simpler you keep your inner self; the happier you’ll be in your relationship. And when you feel content and peaceful from within, you’ll reflect the same in your outside environment. So even if there is negativity or discomfort between you and your mate, things will starts lightening up and will fall in place even before you think.
Another beautiful way of knowing what real power is to surrender to your partner the way you would surrender to yourself. Let go off all the inhibitions and trade your thoughts with absolute ease to your mate. If spoken with genuine compassion, your mate will never get disappointed and understand your point of view. This will make your bond invariably stronger and richer in respect for each other.
The more you give yourself to your partner, the stronger you will feel from within. But the seeds of optimism have to be sown by you if you the first between you two to desire a positive change in your relationship.
