A perfect marriage is the one, which promises life long commitment by two people towards each other. For this the love should remain. Love is a feeling based on strong foundation, honesty and care. The moment this love starts fading in marriage, and mistrust builds in, it initiates the possibility of an extra marital affair. Yes it signifies the end of a happy marriage and questions the saying “marriages are made in heaven”. In the court of marriage, extra marital affairs are considered to be illegal.

Till date surprisingly the maximum number of people having an affair outside marriage are the one’s who opted for love marriages! Or maybe they were never actually in love at all!

It’s mainly because of dissatisfaction of a person from his/her spouse emotionally or physically, which makes their eyes wander here and there for that perfect affair they couldn’t have. And at times some people just do so for the thrill of it or perhaps it’s in their nature of not being loyal towards anyone. Many a times it’s the housewife unhappy with her extra busy husband who doesn’t care to spend time with his lonely wife left isolated with caretakers and servants of the house. In such a case it’s the crave for companionship and for the physical satisfaction that the housewife looks for another man who can satisfy her needs her husband never tried to.

Or it can also be a frustrated husband unhappy with his difficult wife who does nothing apart from throwing taunts and shelling his money away and doesn’t bother to be his emotional support in his hard times. Another case can be of two busy people who are more into their careers than they are into each other. Such are the ones who get married for the heck of it due to either society, peer pressure or parental pressure. They just want a “married” tag and produce children to complete the so called “happy family” so that the society looks up to them of being perfect. Such people on the other hand are found having relationships with their colleagues or maybe their spouse’s friend.

Another category of people can be the one’s who couldn’t get married to the person of their choice, who, according to then was the perfect partner.

The reason can be anything and the person can be anyone.

The couples don’t let each other know about it obviously but somehow it may reflect in their attitude as to what they are up to.

It can be your man who gets you flowery gifts which may not be to make you happy, but, to hide his guilt of being disloyal towards you.

Whatever the truth be but extra marital affairs has been the key to end marriages with divorce. The best way is to marry the man who understands and cares for you as, the person who loves you may not understand you in the long run and might leave you, but the one who understands will automatically love you and you will experience a happy married life.
