It’s the dream of every woman to get her Mr. Right-exactly the way she wants him to be. Every girl makes her own list of qualities she would want her man to have. She reveals all this over a very interesting discussion with her girlfriends during coffee hours with laughter on her lips and a twinkle in her eyes lost in the thoughts of her ideal man. Once you make your list you start comparing your male counterparts or that cute guy you spotted around you with your ideal match. If you are lucky you get exactly the guy you wanted.
But at times the twist comes when you see yourself falling for a guy who is not so close to the big list of qualities you announced to your girlfriends. He might even have some habits you generally dislike people for! But the truth is- you are falling for him irrespective of all that! It might get a bit disturbing and confusing at times if given a thought. Here is when the word compromise comes into play! If you want things to work out smoothly, you have to compromise and reassure yourself at many points, then you will see your priorities changing gradually. Then you may even think, “maybe I expected too much” or “perhaps god chose him to be my life partner”. It can come both ways-positive and negative but overall whatever happens happens for a reason.
I stated this line because if you got exactly the same guy u wanted then the initial spark might be good but with time boredom may come into play. Just imagine your guy doing exactly the same thing every time you knew he would! The words surprise and thrill lose their value in such a relationship! And without surprises and uncertainty, no relation can last long no matter how much the two of you resemble each other.
Actually its not about having the same interests and qualities that bind you together, the connection is perfect when both of you compliment each other irrespective of all flaws- after all nothing is perfect unless you start seeing it that way. It’s all about your point of view as to how you perceive things to be. You might find yourself laughing at jokes with him you frowned at sometime back. After all it’s a very popular line said by every smart and single girl- “I am not an easy catch, no one can impress me that easily”! But believe it or not, love does change you in a way. Make the change beautiful by enjoying every moment of it and not cribbing as to what quality your mate doesn’t have. If you are meant to be together then things will work out and if not, then world is a huge place and you have numerous options to try your hand on!
