If you have just entered the ‘married brigade’ and think that life has just become easy and satisfying for you, it is time for you to think again.
Marriage is not just a bond between the groom and the bride, but also an association between your family and your husband’s family and even a slight mistake (you can even count the unintentional ones) to possibly ruin your future life and create a rift between every one. It is, therefore, recommended that you try to create a balance between the two families and give equal attention (at least make a sincere effort) to try uniting the two.
If you think that your husband prefers spending more time with his mother, sister, or any other family member, you probably are digging your own grave. Just like you have a special bonding with your family members, your husband can also have and there is nothing wrong with that. By trying to create distance or asking him to spend more time with you, you will only be creating problems for yourself and it is recommended that you act like a matured adult. Remember, every one has a special place in life of both of you and your husband and there cannot be anything that can come between you two. Better think of something worthwhile that can help you strengthen the bond rather than heading for separation from the day one.
